Procurement service for S+P Samson GmbH
S+P Samson is specialized in development, production and sales of identification systems. These have been sold to about 60 countries worldwide. The tags and labels produced by S+P Samson distinguish themselves through their robustness against various influences, such as temperature, chemical processes or weather. This is setting high quality standards to the folio needed for the printing of the tags.
Since many years FE has been supervising the procurement and quality control of the films made from polyamide and other materials. Thereby following tasks have been carried out:
- selection and development of suitable suppliers
- compilation of supplier audits locally incl. detailed reports
- negotiation of prices and delivery terms with the suppliers
- translation and exchange of technical documents, drawings and quality standards between the suppliers and S+P Samson
- pre-discussion as well as active follow up and performance tests during sample production
- close supervision of the series orders incl. deadlines and quality control on-site
- organization of shipments and required documents of deliveries
- support and problem-solving in case of quality claims
In early 2015 the Purchasing Director of FE has visited the S+P Samson plant in Kissing again and has been trained in the key criteria of the quality management.
